Terms and Conditions

By booking tickets, you agree to the terms & conditions and privacy policies set by:

Creative Events Collective

Purchase of a ticket signifies your agreement to the terms and conditions listed below:

1. E-Tickets are unique to each booking. Duplicate tickets will be refused.

2. E-Tickets cannot be resold. Anyone found to be reselling their ticket may have their tickets cancelled.

3. All tickets are non-refundable except where you are otherwise entitled to a refund by law. Refunds may also be considered in the event of a significant cancellation or substantial alteration to the event. In the event of cancellation, any refund will be limited to the face value of the E-Ticket and will not include booking and/or additional fees, except where otherwise required by law. Refund claims must be made within the timeframe communicated by the Event Organiser. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

4. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking slot and leave sufficient time to arrive at Corn Exchange Manchester.

5. Please adhere to your allocated booking slot. Admission before or after your booked time cannot be guaranteed. If you arrive late, we will always try to accommodate you where reasonably possible, but admission may be delayed or refused and tickets cannot be refunded or transferred as a result of late arrival.

6. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission. The Event Organiser accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged E-Tickets.

7. All prices are correct at the time of publishing but are subject to change without prior notice. Any subsequent price changes will not affect tickets already purchased.

8. All guests entering The Grotto must have a valid entrance ticket.

9. With the exception of registered assistance dogs, dogs and other animals are not permitted inside The Grotto.

10. Before making a booking, please ensure that your details have been entered correctly and that you have selected the correct date and time.

11. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Each booking must include at least one adult and one child. Children must not be left unattended at any point during the experience.

12. A maximum of five guests may experience The Grotto together as one group. If your party is larger than five, please book the same or simultaneous booking slots where available. We cannot guarantee that separate bookings or booking times will be able to experience The Grotto together.

13. The Grotto is an immersive experience featuring live performers, lighting, sound, theatrical effects and festive environments. Individual elements, characters, rooms, timings and activities may be altered where reasonably necessary without this constituting a significant alteration to the event.

14. Each valid child ticket includes one complimentary gift. Gifts may vary and are subject to availability.

15. Professional photographs with Santa are not included within the ticket price and will be available to purchase separately. Guests are welcome to take their own photographs and videos during the experience where permitted, provided this does not disrupt the experience, performers or other guests.

16. Dedicated Whispering Winter sessions are available for guests who may benefit from a quieter, lower-capacity experience with reduced sound. Please refer to the Whispering Winter information on our website before booking if you believe these sessions may be more suitable for your party.

17. Zero Tolerance of Abuse: The Grotto operates a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening, intimidating, discriminatory or aggressive behaviour towards our staff, performers, contractors, venue staff or other guests. This includes verbal abuse, harassment, threats, intimidation and inappropriate or aggressive behaviour. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any guest displaying such behaviour. Where appropriate, serious incidents or threats may be reported to the police or other relevant authorities. No refund will be provided where admission is refused or a guest is removed as a result of their behaviour.

18. Abuse via Email, Telephone & Social Media: Our zero-tolerance policy also applies to all communication with The Grotto and its team, including email, telephone, social media, direct messages and other digital channels. We understand that guests may sometimes have concerns or complaints and we are always happy to help resolve these respectfully. However, abusive language, harassment, intimidation, threats of violence, discriminatory abuse or repeated targeted abuse towards our team will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to cease communication, restrict or block access to our communication channels and, where appropriate, report serious abuse or threats to the relevant platform, police or other authorities.

19. Children remain the responsibility of their accompanying adult(s) throughout the entire experience. All guests must follow reasonable instructions given by The Grotto team, performers, security personnel and venue staff.

20. The duration of The Grotto experience is approximately 30 minutes. This is an approximate duration only and may vary due to operational requirements.

21. Guests are responsible for checking all booking information, event details and relevant accessibility information before attending.

22. The Event Organiser may make reasonable changes to the experience, running order, performers, characters or individual elements where required for operational, safety or other reasonable circumstances.

23. The Event Organiser will not be responsible for circumstances outside its reasonable control which may affect the operation of the event, subject always to guests’ statutory rights.
