What you need to know

About the event:

Are you searching for a deeper meaning to life? Looking for some time out to get grounded and refocus?

If you're ready to dive into a journey of self-discovery with like-minded people, we have you covered at the LezBe Mindful Wellness Weekender. With a programme of carefully curated wellness activities, there are endless opportunities for self-care.

This powerful weekend has connection at its core, be it connection to self, connection to others or connection to nature. Surrounded by like-minded souls, you'll be welcomed into a beautiful space of love, growth and inner peace.

Whatever your intention, the space is yours to flow and grow. Maybe you're coming to release trauma, close a chapter, heal from a relationship, to process your grief, or perhaps you're looking to make friends, feel less isolated or simply just need to get away...the space is yours.

Our location in North Norfolk is new, private and largely undiscovered, it was love at first sight and we hope it will be for you too. Situated just 30 minutes from Norwich, it provides the ideal escape with multiple spots of rest and reflection, communal areas to cook and bond, lovely nature walks and a stunning, organic, natural swimming pond for our cold water therapy lovers. Not to mention luxury loos and showers.

This is a brand new safe space for lesbian, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning and non-binary people. We welcome our tribe of happy glampers.

Location:

Although our focus is on getting back to basics, we are pleased to accommodate you in our luxury glamping facilities with fully furnished six metre belle tents, electricity, wood burners, fire pits/BBQs and fridges. We even have a miniature castle for those who wish to live like a queen and look up at the stars, whilst laying in bed!

This is your temporary home-from-home to recover from life's hurdles but also challenge yourself to try new things. Whether you're a seasoned yogi, a master meditator or a brand new Wim Hoff in the making, there's something for everyone on this timetable. Ultimately, we want you to have fun and enjoy every aspect of this precious weekend together outdoors.

Our site location is set in North Norfolk (near Norwich), full address and instructions will be received on booking (for the safety and exclusivity of our attendees) but get in touch if you need a little more information to prepare.

*Please note there is no camping available onsite, but we can offer you a range of luxury glamping options to suit all budgets. We can also match you with a group of people to share accommodation if needed.

Activities:

A full timetable of wellbeing workshops and classes will be running throughout the weekend, catered for all levels and hosted by LBTQ womxn, we're keen to showcase the talent within our community. Sessions will include: Yoga, Meditation, Sound Therapy, Street Dancing, Belly Dancing, Breathwork, Crystals, Laughter Yoga, Drumming, Firepit Ceremonies and more. We'll be kicking off with some conscious DJing and dancing with a very special guest, and treating you to a portable spa with our mobile sauna and combination of hot and cold therapy. The hardcore healers among us may even be tempted by an ice bath. Unlimited access to our organic natural swimming pond between 8.30am-8.30pm, all at no extra cost.

Themes:

Funky Friday - welcome party, dance like no-one is watching, have fun

Self-care Saturday - swim & sauna, release your trauma, heal the mind, body & spirit

Soul Sunday - time to relax and be present with freestyle spoken word and magic moments around the fire pit, feel free to bring your guitar.

Food:

We are keen to make this as affordable as possible therefore food will be self-catering with access to bbqs and a fully kitted communal kitchen featuring all cooking utensils, plates, cutlery and so on. For those who prefer not to cook there is a pub just five minutes away and we're hoping to have a food trader for at least our first evening providing vegetarian and vegan, gluten free options. There is no cafe/restaurant onsite.

Car sharing:

We're keen to go green and have limited parking onsite, so please consider car sharing between friends, old and new. We're happy to help organise and bring people together, so be sure to reach out if you need a travel buddy.

Accessibility:

Our venue is currently working towards being as accessible as possible, they are in the process of building additional structures to make the site wheelchair friendly. There is a disabled toilet and shower but the grab rails and ramps are not yet available. Some of the land is hard and therefore suitable for wheelchair users but others parts have wood chip making it more difficult to move around. If you are interested in joining us please get in touch to discuss directly. We aim to be fully accessible at events in the near future.

Finally:

We can't wait to sit around the campfire and create some memorable moments with you. There are plenty of surprises in store, this is just the beginning of a happy, healthy, healing and transformational experience among new LBTQ and non-binary friends.

More updates and announcements to follow, stay tuned. And don't forget, LezBe Mindful!
