What you need to know

Show 1:

Wake Me Up invites us into a world where imagination begins to stir and movement brings dreams to life.

Through playful choreography, vibrant music, and the joy of performance, our younger dancers explore the magic of awakening- discovering rhythm, connection and self-expression along the way. Each piece is a small window into their creativity, where curiosity leads and confidence blooms.

This performance celebrates the beauty of beginnings- where every step, every leap, and every moment on stage is part of something new unfolding.

Show 2:

Wake Me Up is a reflection on awakening-not just from sleep, but into self, into voice, into presence.

Inspired in part by Dewey Dreams My Soul Arises, this performance explores the quiet and powerful moments of becoming. As Joyce writes, "while sweetly, gently, secretly, the flowery bells of morn are stirred..."-we witness dancers moving through states of transition. growth, and discovery.

This work asks: What does it mean to wake up?

To step into awareness, into artistry, into the fullness of who we are?

Through layered choreography and dynamic expression, these dancers embody that journey-where subtle beginnings give way to bold presence, and where, like the poem suggests, something unseen begins to rise and be heard.
