About us

Falconhurst is a small country estate in the High Weald of Kent with an organic dairy farm, farm shop and beautiful gardens used for occasional weddings and events.

How do we collect information from you?

We collect your date through your interactions with us, where your details have been collected, such as purchasing tickets to an event, signing up to our mailing list, expressing interest in receiving information or sending us an email directly.

What type of information is collected from you?

The type of information we receive will depend on the interactions you have with us.  Most interactions will give us your email address and some your full name and address.  We never have any access to your banking details.

How is your information used?

We may use your information to share news and event information, alert you to special offers in our farmshop, weddings and events.  We will never share your information to third parties.

Third Party Payment Processors

We process payments for our events using Bookitbee who, if you choose to book an event with us, you will also be bound by their own privacy policy which we would advise you to familiarise yourself with before continuing payment.  When we manage events using this provider, we will have access to your name, address, time of booking and contact information including your telephone number and email address.  For certain events we may also require additional information such as your age and dietary requirements.  This information is held in accordance with our existing data and equally, is not shared with any third party operators.

Your choices

You have a choice about if you wish to receive information from us.  If you do not want to receive direct marketing communications from us about our upcoming events, then you can select your choices by ticking the relevant boxes situation on the form on which we collect your information. 

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email or phone unless you have given your prior consent.  We will not contact you for marketing purposes by post if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted.  You can change your marketing preferences at any time by contacting us at info@falconhurst.co.uk

How you can access and update your information

Please email us if you change your contact details and wish to stay updated with your information. 

Under new data protection legislations, you have the right to request the information and data we hold of you.  Please allow up to 30 days for us to send this to you.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information

The systems we use mean we never have access to your financial details.  However, we suggest you read through the data protection summary of Bookitbee before you process your transaction, to ensure you are happy with the steps they have taken to ensure the security of your data.
