Dealing With Drugs in Practice

We used mercury to suppress syphilis until the early 20th Century and then arsenic-based preparations found their way into our pharmacies and were used until the 1940’s.

As the 20th Century advanced we’ve added antibiotics, many vaccinations and a much more complex pharmacy so that when I client comes in to see us with a long list of medication it can be hard to know where to start.

In this masterclass, we’ll break it down, look at strategies for prescribing and how to support clients who want to wean off medication, what nutrients get depleted whilst on long term courses of allopathic drugs, check in with the family history and how to rebuild the best we can.

We’ll look at why supplements aren’t always the best first step and explore our resources in terms of homeopathic remedies, flower essences and tissue salts.

Caroline will also explore tautopathic prescribing  - perhaps Hahnemann’s first ever prescription!

There will be time to ask questions and it will be recorded.
