What you need to know

POSTPONED

Due to scheduling issues, this event has been postponed. Once a new date and location have been secured, we will be in contact.

The University of Glasgow recently signed up to the Knowledge Exchange Concordat  (KEC) - a national initiative designed to improve and strengthen institutional Knowledge Exchange across the full spectrum of our research and teaching.

Our involvement with this will be a long-term dynamic engagement around a process of continuous improvement based on eight principles provided by the Concordat:

  1. Mission
  2. Policies and processes
  3. Engagement
  4. Working transparently and ethically
  5. Capacity building
  6. Recognition and rewards
  7. Continuous improvement
  8. Evaluating success

As a first step, this launch event aims to tell you more about the Concordat and gather your reflections on where we have gaps in our KE delivery at Glasgow. After the event we will use the information gathered to prioritise actions addressing these formed around short-term themed working groups.

Please sign up below to attend the event and feel free to pass this invite to colleagues that may be interested in attending – we want to consult as widely as possible, and all are welcome. (Note that this is an in-person event; a hybrid format will be considered only if space constraint issues arise)
