Join us at Poynder Park on Saturday 2 January 2027 as Tynedale take on Kelso in a special match celebrating the 150th seasons of both clubs.

Founded in 1876, Tynedale and Kelso share a rugby history stretching back to their earliest days. This anniversary fixture is a chance to celebrate that longstanding connection, renew friendships and enjoy a New Year’s day out in the Borders, with Tyne taking on our Scottish Premiership hosts.

We’re arranging a supporters’ bus, departing Tynedale at approximately 10am on Saturday morning. There are two booking options:

• Bus only – join us for the journey to Kelso and support the lads at Poynder Park.
• Bus and lunch – add lunch at Poynder Park before settling in for the match.

Whether you’re making a full day of it over lunch or simply coming along for the rugby, we’d love a strong Tynedale following for this one-off anniversary celebration.

The celebrations will continue on Easter Saturday, when Kelso visit Tynedale for the return fixture. We look forward to returning their hospitality and welcoming as many Kelso players, members and supporters as possible to Tynedale Park.

Please book early to secure your preferred option and avoid disappointment.
