The annual Tonbridge Roundtable Charity Fireworks is returning to the RACECOURSE SPORTSGROUND on SUNDAY 3rd NOVEMBER.

This years 80's/90's themed display will be a FULLY CHOREOGRAPHED by world class PHOENIX FIREWORKS will be BIGGER & BETTER than ever before including FLAMERS and LIGHTING...

There will be more catering outlets this year selling food, hot, cold and alcoholic beverages and all have been asked to provide cash and card payments.

FAQ's

What time does the event start?

Gates will open at 5pm, with the fireworks being set off at 6.30pm. This will allow you time to enjoy the catering options available and find a spot from which to spectate.

Can I buy a ticket on the gate?
Yes, tickets can be purchased on the day, but we recommend completing your booking before you arrive at the event and have your tickets ready to scan for entry. We will be taking cash and card payments on the Wharfdale Road gate but recommend that you book online early to avoid disappointment, as we have capacity limits on site.

Do I need to print my tickets?
Please do not print your e-ticket to save paper and for contactless ticket checking. E-tickets will be scanned directly off your phone at the gate.

I have not received my e-tickets

All tickets will be e-mailed to the address you enter when carrying out your booking. If you have not received them firstly your junk/spam email folder. If it has not gone there it is likely there has been an error in the e-mail address which has been entered. If this is the case please e-mail us at contact@tonbridgefireworks.co.uk with your booking name, number if tickets ordered, the correct e-mail address and we will get the booking amended.

Do I need to book a children’s ticket?
Children aged 5-15 inclusive will require a child ticket. However, under 5’s can attend the event for free and do not require a ticket.

Can I book a carers ticket and what documentation do you require?

You can book a carers ticket for persons who provide additional physical or cognitive assistance for guest with a qualifying disability. Guests who have the following documentation and have a condition which requires additional assistance are entitled to one free carer* ticket.

The guest with the disability and any further members of their party will need to pay the normal price of the tickets.

Please show the relevant paperwork as well as suitable photo ID of the named recipient on entry via our ticket barriers.

For proof of disability, please bring any ONE of the following forms of documentation:

  • Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book.
  • Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
  • Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) Disability Students’ Allowance (DSA), or DID card (UK Disabled ID card).
  • A valid Blue Badge
  • In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI).
  • Credibility’s Access Card with the carer/companion symbol  

*A carer must be over 14 years of age and understand the ticket-holding guest’s condition, assisting them during their visit. Please note children under 14 must be accompanied by someone aged 16+ years. Carers must be able to take responsibility for relaying instructions to the guest they are caring for and physically help them where appropriate. 

If the above is not provided we will have to charge the full on the gate price. 

What if the event cannot go ahead on the 3rd November 2024

If the event cannot go ahead on the 3rd November 2024 (e.g. due to flooding or excessive wind / rain) we will implement a postponement to Sunday 17th November 2024 (same time and location). if you are unable to attend the revised date or we still cannot hold the event by that date as we will look to defer your tickets to the following year or provide refunds. Refunds will be processed after the postponement date and can take up to a month to appear in your account. 

Will there be food and drink?
Yes, there are plenty of food outlets at the event including hot, cold and alcoholic beverages. All have been requested to offer cash and card payments.

Can I bring in sparklers, fireworks or drones?

No. Sparklers, fireworks and drones and strictly not permitted for safety reasons.

Are there toilets and baby change facilities?
Yes, toilets including accessible toilets and baby changing will be available.

Is there a cash machine on site?
There will not be a cash machine on site. We have requested all catering outlets can take cash and card payments.

I have bought tickets but I am unable to attend. What is your refund policy?

Please refer to our terms and conditions available on our website www.tonbridgefireworks.co.uk 

If you choose to purchase the optional refund protection with 'Booking Protect' at the time of booking, you can submit a claim at www.bookingprotect.com providing that your reason for not attending meets their conditions. This includes illness, if you test positive for COVID-19, or if a member of your immediate family tests positive and your required self-isolation period covers the event date. Please see the Terms & Conditions for details.

Where can I park my car and will charges apply?

The event venue has lots of public carparks adjacent to or within a short distance of the site. Blue badge parking is also available in these car parks but cannot be reserved. Please observe the parking charges in place at the time of the event. Note these have recently been changed by the council. No parking is available in the Racecourse sports grounds at any time 

Example carparks: Lower Castle Field/Tonbridge Swimming pool, Upper Castle Field, Castle Grounds, Bradford Street, Angel Car Park West & East, Botany Car Park, Sovereign Way Mid and North, Rail Station Carparks A, B & C

Do I need to socially distance at the venue?
As per current government guidelines you are not required to socially distance at the event. We have additionally expanded the viewing area for this year.

Do I need to wear a face covering?
You are currently not required to wear a face covering at the event, but you are welcome to do so if this makes you feel more comfortable. 

What if I or one of my group test positive for COVID-19?
You should not attend if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or are required to self isolate. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds if this occurs so suggest you pass your ticket on to a family or friends. Booking protect can be purchased at your discretion (see above).

Where are the entrances to Tonbridge Fireworks?

There are three entrances to the park where your tickets will be scanned. These are the

  • New Wharf Road,
  • Swimming pool bridge and
  • Avebury Avenue entrances.

Other entrances will be manned by security personnel but they will be unable to scan tickets or allow entry/exit.

Where can I park my car?

Parking is available in the council operated car parks, but we encourage those local to the town to walk to the venue.

Please note the car park to back of the Poundland and JD Wetherspoons charge to park at ant time.

Are there accessible viewing areas?

Yes, there is an accessible viewing area which event stewards can direct you to. No need to pre-book.
