Experience an unforgettable evening of music in the stunning surroundings of Malmesbury Abbey as the Wiltshire Concert Band joins forces with Cantanti Choir for a spectacular charity concert in aid of The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust.
Whether you enjoy classical favourites, film and show tunes or timeless pop classics, this varied programme promises an evening of outstanding entertainment for music lovers of all ages.
The concert features an exciting programme including music by The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, Neil Diamond and Boston, alongside the much-loved brass band march by Goff Richards and other audience favourites.
The evening concludes with a traditional Last Night of the Proms celebration, featuring:
Union flags will be provided, and everyone is encouraged to join in the singing for a rousing and memorable finale.
Formerly the Wiltshire Police Band, the Wiltshire Concert Band has been performing throughout the South West since 1985. Under the direction of Martin Perry, the band is renowned for its entertaining concerts and support of charities, community festivals and civic events.
Cantanti ChoirBased in Royal Wootton Bassett, Cantanti is an award-winning mixed-voice choir led by Lisa Williams. Since its formation in 2010, the choir has delighted audiences with a lively repertoire spanning classical music, madrigals, musical theatre and contemporary pop.
Guest SoloistWe are delighted to welcome acclaimed soprano Kristina Takashina, whose career includes performances with the British Youth Opera and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, as well as voice work for Japanese gaming companies and commercial productions.
Every ticket sold helps support The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, an independent charity providing free home security improvements and online safety advice to elderly and vulnerable people across Wiltshire and Swindon.

Every ticket sold contributes to the formation of a Training Band, where Wiltshire Concert Band is actively fund raising to purchase music, instruments, music stands and other equipment and are very grateful for all donations received.
Wiltshire Concert Band is in the embryonic stages of setting up a training band. This will offer a musical experience to players of brass, woodwind and percussion instruments who have started their musical journey but have not reached the standard of existing ensembles within the county. Players will be mentored by members of the Band as a way to build confidence in a fun and supportive setting. Music is a great way to develop skills in communication, concentration, mental agility and organisation as well as enhancing well-being making a positive impact on mental health. The band will be a crucial stepping stone enabling players to make informed decisions on the next stages of their chosen musical path.
