What you need to know

The Mind Sweepers are a four-piece from Dumfries, comprising Paul Winter (vocals, lyrics, acoustic guitar), John McInally (lead guitar, backing vocals), Mark Jardine (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Bryn Thorburn (drums, percussion). They were formed in 2015, have gigged plenty, and released an album entitled ‘States of Mind’ in early 2018. Influences are varied, as are the songs, which range from psyche-rock, to contemporary folk.

Support will be from the fantastic Emma and The Poets.

The Vault Arts Centre is located in the former bank building at 40 Victoria Street, Newton Stewart, between Boots Chemists (to the right) and Avocet (to the left).

A regular bus service (X75/500) runs through Newton Stewart, with stops on Victoria Street just a short walking distance from the venue.

Parking is available on Victoria Street, however we recommend parking at Riverside Car Park, on Riverside Road, in order to reduce congestion.  Riverside Car Park is within a short walking distance of the venue.
