The Grotto returns to Dubai for an even more magical festive family adventure! Embark on an immersive journey through Candy Cane Lane, The Enchanted Forest, and The Merry Mail Room. Help the elves complete festive tasks along the way, before meeting Santa in his cosy cabin for photos and gifts!

How long does the experience last?

The Grotto's immersive and magical experience lasts approx. 15-20 minutes. You'll explore multiple rooms with the joyful elves, completing festive missions along the way, before meeting Santa in his cost cabin for photos and gifts! 

Does the ticket include photos & a gift?

Each child ticket comes with a FREE GIFT (excl. babies aged 12 months or less, that come in free of charge). You can take your own photos and videos as you journey through the rooms, but a professional photo will be taken with Santa which you can purchase, as a magical keepsake for life!

Booking Slots

The time slot of your chosen booking at The Grotto is a 10 minute window for entry. To begin your journey into Candy Cane Land, each child must be accompanied by at least one festive elder, with no more than five Christmas explorers in one group. To ensure a seamless passage to the wonderland that awaits, kindly arrive 5 minutes before your designated booking slot.

Whispering Winter Sessions

At the heart of the festive season, we treasure the universal magic of Christmas. To ensure the ‘Dear Santa’ experience is a joy for every child. We’re introducing ‘Whispering Winter’ sessions which are exclusively for those with Special Educational Needs and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Recognising that a bustling grotto might be overwhelming for some, these sessions  will have The Grotto’s sounds gently muted, creating a calm and magical setting for all to meet Santa.

To ensure each child can enjoy the magic at their own pace, we will be welcoming fewer guests during each booking slot. Our jovial elves and Santa himself are devoted to making every moment special and are ready to adjust and convey their festive greetings in a manner that resonates with each unique family.

The Grotto: Dear Santa

In a land filled with wonder and enchantment, where dreams come true and letters to Santa require a very special delivery. Families will journey through the Candy Cane Land and Enchanted Forest in search of Santa’s Merry Mailroom. Assisted by Santa’s Elves, challenges and tasks await them on this journey, whilst they embark on an adventure to deliver their very own letter to Santa in his cosy cabin.

Welcome to the Grotto – The anticipation builds

Upon arrival at The Grotto, your first steps lead you to the admissions desk, where our welcoming team hands you your very own Santa’s letter. With your heart fluttering with excitement and the anticipation of what lies ahead, you’re on the threshold of stepping into a wonderland. The magical journey begins, inviting you to immerse yourself in the enchanting wonders of The Grotto.

Candy Cane Land – The Journey Begins

An immersive introduction to an unforgettable entertainment experience, at the start of your journey, you’ll find yourself in Candy Cane Land. With a warm welcome from the Elves, you’re encouraged to begin writing your letter to Santa before embarking on the next adventure, surrounded by towering candy canes and sparkling lights.

The Enchanted Forest – Let the fun begin

Stepping into a new world, you’ll continue the festive experience into the Enchanted Forest. By making your way through a snow-filled land, together with your family, you’ll encounter Flossy the Forest Elf and Sparkle the Sleep Elf, who are ready with some handy directions and a snowball or two to instigate another one of their famous snow fights. Here, you’ll need to discover the correct route to reach Santa’s Merry Mailroom, in the hope that the precious letters will be delivered on time.

The Merry Mailroom – Save Christmas

Step into the delightful disarray of Santa’s Merry Mailroom. This magical mailroom goes beyond the imagination. With letters zipping across the room, blanketing every visible surface, it’s a whirlwind of festive communication. You must ensure your letter to Santa is posted into the magical mailbox, before lending Miracle, the Mailroom Elf a hand. After saving Christmas, you get your very own letter stamped and posted through the magical mail box.

Santa’s Grotto – Believe the magic

The moment you’ve been waiting for… it’s time to enter Santa’s cosy cabin for your meet and greet opportunity. Thankfully, your family’s hard work has paid off and Santa received the letters by special delivery. It’s time to read through your letter with Santa and his Head Elf, Holly, before having a professional photo taken and receiving your Christmas gift in this special moment.
