Stagecoach Summer Showcase 2017

We are excited to announce that we will be presenting our 21st summer showcase production in August 2017.  The Summer Showcase is an opportunity for Stagecoach Students from the UK and Overseas to audition for a place to perform in a ‘professional’ theatre production.

You are invited to join us for an exciting day’s workshop exploring the wonders of Hairspray. Our workshop auditions are designed to give you a fun packed musical experience working with our Audition Team to work through this musical journey examining this fun piece of work with sequins and colour.

The workshop will be divided into sections where you will work on different elements of the show. Your family/friends will be invited to arrive 15 minutes before the end of the workshop to watch a small presentation of our work.

Once all of the workshop/auditions are completed the audition team will carefully select 80 students to make up the 2017 cast of Hairspray. Students who are invited to join the cast will then spend two weeks from 28th July to 12th August with our incredible production team at St Mary’s University to rehearse and they will perform the show at the artsdepot in North Finchley, London. For children who live long distances from these venues,  boarding facilities are available.

There is a £35.00 fee for students attend the workshop/audition, which is non-refundable.
