Terms & Conditions of Purchase

Event: Mothering Sunday Afternoon Tea

Location: Arrival via normal public entrance to Penshurst Place, Afternoon Tea served in the upstairs Sunderland Room

Start Time: Dependant on booked sitting

Ticket Price:  £40.00 per person + small booking fee (optional extras also available)

Tickets Include: Your Afternoon Tea plus access to the House and Gardens during our normal opening hours

Gardens: Open 10.00am until 5.00pm

House: Open 11.30am until 3.30pm

Event Lasts: Your sitting is for two hours

General Arrival Information:

• Please arrive via the usual public entrance to Penshurst Place and Gardens following postcode TN11 8DG. 
• Please have proof of purchase ready to present either on your device or printed out
• No-shows will not be permitted a refund.

Cancellation Policy:

• Penshurst Place reserves the right to cancel any event at any time, for any reason. Where a cancellation is made by Penshurst Place we will endeavour to contact all affected customers ahead of the cancelled event.
• Should your booked event be cancelled by Penshurst Place, you will receive a refund of your ticket cost. Booking fees which form a part of your ticket cost may not be refunded.
• We must be informed of your cancellation in writing no later than 7 days prior to the event if you would like a full refund. A 50% refund shall be offered for notification between 5 - 7 days, and no refund can be offered with fewer than 5 days notice. 

Privacy Policy

• Please note any data provided when making your booking, including your billing address, telephone number and email address, is stored securely on the BookItBe (Live It) server. Penshurst Place and Gardens has access to these details in order to send you updated information regarding your booking with us.

• During the booking process, you can opt out of receiving future marketing material from Penshurst Place and Gardens, and we will ensure you are removed from any subscriber lists. However if you would like to stay connected with us, you will be sent the occasional email via Campaign Monitor regarding upcoming events, news and important information about Penshurst Place and Gardens.

• You can email us to opt out of these emails at any time.

• Penshurst Place does not share or sell the details of our customers with any other company, property or third party unless it is a service we use to keep in touch with you, Campaign Monitor for instance.

• Penshurst Place never have access to your card details. All payments are processed via Stripe.

• Staff on the day of the event will have a list of attendees per event, which we use to check off attendees as they arrive. This list includes your name and your booked event only.
