OAT Data Community :: Virtual GL Assessment Training

What you need to know

Session 1:: (09:15 – 10:15) New GL Assessment Dashboard Demonstration hosted by Mica Ramsay (Session 1 of 2 - identical sessions to enable everyone to join)

This session will cover:

·       Introduction to the new OAT Academy level dashboards

·       TRUST level dashboards and benchmarking. 

·       Best use of dashboards and Investigations

·       Next steps

Session 2:: (10:15 – 11:15) Data Community Session hosted by James Obrien

This session is aimed at Data Leads and Data Managers and will cover the following:

·       General overview for any new members to the community

·       Testwise roadmap – what’s new and what’s coming

·       Accessing combination reports for paper (PT and/or CAT4) users

·       Reminders about the different type of reports to be shared with colleagues

·       Reminders about updating student lists for the new year

Session 3:: (11:30 – 12:30) New GL Assessment Dashboard Demonstration hosted by Mica Ramsay (Session 2 of 2 - identical sessions to enable everyone to join)

This session will cover

·       Introduction to the new OAT Academy level dashboards

·       TRUST level dashboards and benchmarking. 

·       Best use of dashboards and Investigations

Session 4:: (13:00 – 14:00) Lead Practitioners session hosted by James Obrien

This session is aimed at Lead Practitioners and will cover the following:

·       What are the different types of reports and who is the audience

·       Running your own CAT4 ‘hidden strengths and weaknesses’ analysis

·       An overview of Progress tests

Session 5:: (14:00 – 15:00) Principals session hosted by James Obrien

This session is aimed at Principals and Education Directors and will cover the following:

·       Using CAT4 from transition to GCSEs i.e. making your CAT4 data work for you beyond just Year 7

·       Looking at data over time now that you have a full Key Stage worth of data i.e. the current Year 9 should have NGRT and Progress Test data from several points throughout KS3. How can you get to this data and what does it tell you?
