Horror Con Scotland – Trader Terms & Conditions (2027)

Organised by Northern Frights Ltd

This document outlines the terms and conditions agreed to upon booking a trader space at Horror Con Scotland. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and accept the following:

1. Non-Refundable Booking Policy

All trader spaces are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Northern Frights Ltd.
This includes cancellations due to personal or business reasons, unforeseen circumstances, or inability to attend.

2. Payment Plans & Booking Protection

Payment plans are available to spread the cost of your booking.
Your space is not fully secured until the agreed deposit or full payment has been received.

If you choose to cancel your booking before paying in full, any payments made are non-refundable.

Optional booking protection insurance may be available at the time of booking.
This is entirely optional and not required.
If purchased, any claims or refunds will be handled under the terms of the insurance provider, not Northern Frights Ltd.

3. Cancellations and Transfers

If you are unable to attend:

We will attempt to offer your space to a trader on our waiting list, who may arrange to pay you directly.
This option is only available if we are notified at least one month before the event – no later than March 24, 2027.
You must not sell or transfer your space without written permission from Northern Frights Ltd.
Unauthorised traders will be refused entry and will not be permitted to trade.
Any unauthorised transfer will result in the original booking being void without refund.

4. Public Liability Insurance

All traders must hold valid Public Liability Insurance.
A copy of your insurance certificate must be submitted prior to the event.

Failure to provide this documentation may result in your space being forfeited without refund.

5. Table Sharing

Table sharing is not permitted.
Only one business may trade from each allocated space unless agreed in writing in advance.

6. Stock Approval & Fair Trading

You are approved to sell the items listed at the time of your application.
Any significant changes to your product range must be communicated in advance.
We aim to maintain a balanced trader mix and avoid oversaturation of similar products.

7. Product Restrictions – Read Carefully

To protect the integrity of the event and support genuine creators and businesses:

No AI-generated artwork is permitted, including images that have been created or altered using AI tools.
No dropshipped or mass-produced items from platforms such as Temu, AliExpress, or similar sources are permitted.

Items must be either:
Designed and/or produced by you, or
Legitimately sourced wholesale stock that aligns with your brand

If you arrive with prohibited items, you may be asked to remove them from sale or leave the event entirely with no refund.

8. Conduct & Event Behaviour

All traders are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward staff, attendees, and other traders.

Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour will result in removal from the event without refund.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By booking your space, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
