Critically acclaimed comedian Jamali Maddix is back on the road with a brand new tour show: Aston. Expect Jamali's trademark brutally honest and unflinching perspectives on the world at large. His last tours have sold-out shows across the globe, playing the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. He is a regular on the series of Nevermind the Buzzcocks for Sky and was one of the most anarchic Taskmaster contestants the show has ever seen. Alongside this he was a regular contributor for Frankie Boyle's New World Order (BBC2) and has been seen on 'Live at the Apollo' (BBC Two), '8 Out of 10 Cats' (More4), The Late Late Show with James Corden (CBS) as well as many others.

MONKEY BARREL COMEDY

Monkey Barrel Comedy has been ‘Scotland’s Best Comedy Venue’ since 2020 (Chortle Awards) and was described by The List as “a year-round Edinburgh institution”. It has over 500 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor, making it one of the city’s top-rated year-round attractions.

DRINKS & MORE

Our adjoining bar, Barrel Bar, is open from 3pm on Fridays, 1pm on Saturday and at least 1 hour before every show every other day. It serves a wide selection of drinks, including locally-sourced beers, cocktails, and spirits.
