The Learning and Development Team are launching a new initiative for leaders and managers – The Leadership Forum - to expand their learning and network with colleagues.

The Leadership Forum (which builds on the success of our alumni network) is open to all leaders and managers and will launch on Thursday 5th October from 14:30 – 16:00 with Meera Nair, LGT Chief People Officer as our guest speaker. Meera will be sharing her leadership journey with attendees, and the tips she has learned about leadership along the way.

The Leadership Forum sessions will enable attendees to meet other leaders from across the Trust, to share and reflect on your leadership challenges, as well as learn about a leadership concept or skill that you can put into practice. The sessions will be offered virtually, to maximise the opportunity to connect across both sites, interweaved with face-to-face networking sessions where leaders can connect in person.

The Forum is available to LGT leaders and managers at all levels and professional groups, and each session will offer something tailored to each leadership group:

• Aspiring leaders: New managers or staff who aspire to progress into a leadership role (B4-6)

• Emerging leaders: Established managers who lead a team or service (B7-8a)

• Senior leaders: Experienced leaders who operate strategically and manage departments/divisions (B8b and above)
