Biography:

Dr. Ian Mortimer (born 1967) is a acclaimed British historian, novelist, and qualified archivist renowned for the Time Traveller’s Guide series. Holding a PhD and DLitt from Exeter, he specializes in innovative, accessible social history and late-medieval biography, described by The Times as "the most remarkable medieval historian of our time".
