What you need to know
For one night only (perhaps!), we're not just pumping up the 80s....we'll also be resurrecting classic dancefloor-friendly tunes from the 60s and 70s across no less than FIVE HOURS of floor-fillers and juggernaut hits galore, taking in as much of the musical spectrum as we possibly can!
Rock, Pop, Soul, Disco, Motown, Northern Soul, Ska, 2-Tone, Mod, Punk, New Romantic, Goth, Synthpop, Rock 'n' Roll, Indie, Metal, New Wave, Reggae....the possibilities are endless!
If you're bonkers about Bay City Rollers, excited for ELO, soft on The Sweet, nuts for Numan, tantalised by T-Rex and beguiled by The Beatles, you'll love this club session!
As always, any fancy dress you like is entirely optional but massively encouraged, as is your favourite band T-shirt from back in the day (if you still have an original, especially from that far back, we'll be impressed!), otherwise come clothed for comfort on the dancefloor!
From AC/DC and Blondie, via ELO and Jackson 5, right the way back to Ronettes and Rolling Stones, this is going to be a very special session!
** IMPORTANT **
Advance tickets are available only until doors open on the night UNLESS SOLD OUT FIRST, so booking is essential to guarantee entry (and save yourself a couple of quid in the process!).

VENUE LOCATION: The Lawns Social Club is located in the heart of Taunton, on the A38, opposite the High Street car park, and a 15 minute walk from the railway station.
ABOUT PARKING: There is a small car park on site, and a much larger public car park directly opposite the venue which is usually free after 6pm (but do check the signage on arrival to verify this). Should you be lucky enough to find a space in the on-site car park, you will be required to enter your registration number on a tablet within 10 minutes of parking up. The tablet is located at the main reception. Failure to do so will incur a hefty fine which we won't be able to overturn!
ABOUT SEATING: Please note that The Lawns Social Club has plenty of unreserved seating, but purchasing a ticket only guarantees you entry to the event, not a seat, so try to arrive as you possibly can if having a seat is important to you. Exception: we will reserve a seat in advance for the mobility-impaired and wheelchair users, who should contact the organiser (JD Events) immediately upon ticket purchase should a seat or space be required.
FOOD & BEVERAGE AVAILABILITY: The Lawns Social Club offers a full bar service from 6pm, and a range of hot and cold bar snacks and meals. Call them directly nearer the time to inquire about what's on the menu - 07891 996010. Alternatively, there are many restaurant or fast food choices a stone's throw away.
ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS: There are two hotels within a few minutes walk of The Lawns Social Club - 1) The Corner House Hotel, and, 2) The Taunton House Hotel. There are also two Premier Inn hotels within a 5 minute drive.
