What you need to know

Come and join us for a mad weekend running around The Shropshire Hills on the 11 & 12th September 2021. You can run a marathon, or Half Marathon on both Saturday and Sunday or you can run a single day. The choice is yours!

The route around The Long Mynd starts in Carding Mill Valley and is a marked 26.2 mile single lap (and 13.1 Mile single lap).

There are no Laps on this run with a single lap for both the marathon and half.

7 Hour cut off for the run.  Kick off is 9am unless social distancing is still with us - if it is we will do wave starts from 7am.

We have been involved in event management for over 14 years working on all race distances from 5K’s right up to Ultra Marathons. We are actively involved in the course build of numerous OCR’s that take place in the UK. When we launched How Hard Can it be Events, we wanted to make running events fun and put on events that we would want to take part in ourselves. That is why we have worked hard to host smaller, friendlier events, where people can relax and get to know people and enjoy the whole running experience. We think this philosophy is what makes us stand out from the crowd.
