Take a moment to unwind and relax in nature.

With the beautiful, mature trees at Hever Castle and Gardens as models, we will observe their structure and texture and create expressive sketches using pencil and fine liner pens.

In the studio, we will have a warm fire, tea and coffee and biscuits to help us continue our sketches.

Beginners are very welcome and there is no pressure to perform. The workshop is more about enjoying a moment in nature away from the business of Christmas than producing a masterpiece.

There will be an assortment of pencils, fine liners and watercolours available to use on the course. Please bring a hardback sketchbook, minimum paperweight 160 gsm, or contact learning@hevercastle.co.uk to purchase one to be provided on the day.

Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch, or else take advantage of the food and drink facilities on site. There will be a half hour lunch break.
