Discover the enchanting art of painting on silk in this fun and relaxing 2.5 hour workshop run by silk painting artist Laura Hollis.

Create three unique pieces to take home.

First you will practice on pre-stretched silk, perfecting the use of Gutta outliner and learning how the vibrant colours flow across the silk. 

You can then start your main piece, a 7-inch suncatcher. Different patterns and designs will be provided for inspiration, or you are welcome to bring your own ideas. 

Then, relax in a real mindfulness moment as you paint a ready-printed card design, perfect to put in a frame and keep, or give to a friend or loved one. 

No previous experience is necessary and beginners are welcome! All materials will be provided. Please be aware that the paints do stain, so you will need to wear appropriate clothing.
