Take a moment to switch off and enjoy the warm colours in nature as summer moves into autumn. We will explore techniques for sketching trees and capturing their shape, form and texture, using fineliners and pencils. We will then apply vibrant watercolour washes to bring our sketches to life. Weather permitting, we will spend time sketching in the gardens at Hever with the beautiful mature trees as subjects.

All materials will be provided except paper. Please bring a hardback sketchbook, minimum paperweight 160gsm and dress suitably for sketching outside. You may wish to bring a foldable chair. Beginners are welcome'

Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch, or else take advantage of the onsite restaurant. There will be a half hour lunch break.
