The Brownstein Family band started as a joke on social media when a fan of the bands said “family band featuring Marc, Zach and Jake from eggy.” This manifestation came to life at Biscoland, when Eggy and the Disco Biscuits were backstage together. The idea brought the bassist of the Biscuits and his son Zach (drums) together with Jake from Eggy, who shares a surname with the duo and plays a wicked lead guitar. The band was rounded out when Eggy Keyboardist Dani Battat joined in. The band debuted in January of 24 with a sold out show at Nectars in Burlington Vermont.
