OFFICIAL COMPETITION 2023

Our official competition has received films from Latin America, Mexico and Spain; This year it was dedicated only to Mexico in the format that most promotes the talent of our country, the short film. Our festival has navigated this fascinating adventure of determining the best works of fiction and documentary in order to present the finalists to our international jury for our sections:

“MADE IN BCS”
BCS’s FIlmakers Meeting.
The FCTS screen is open to local creators who continue the task of giving BCS its place in national and international cinematography. Films that reflect the particular identity of the peninsula, its history, traditions, legends and hidden treasures in a unique geography reflected in its adventurous soul. This HBCS program will open the festival by inviting its authors to participate in a BCS’s Filmmakers Encounters. will be the link between local talents, a fertile space for new projects that at the same time will create links between authors and the audience present. This event on Friday Nov 24 is the presentation of the HBCS Official Competition and the winner will be recognized on Sunday Nov 26 at TMML

MEXICAN SHORT FILM 
The highlights of Mexican talent, new and consolidated from Mexico, are presented on this occasion with a competition from independent, academic and professional cinema, so we will have short films on screen that will tell us about our identity and the concerns of our filmmakers for the country.
