Fito Páez, the soul of Argentina and the icon of Argentine and Latin American rock, reunites once again with Havana that adopted him in the 80s. 30 years later the artist, from the terrace of the Hotel Nacional, reflects on his history, his musicians and its contradictions. Fito remembers his first visits, his friendship with Pablo Milanés, his communion with the cultural and political climate of Havana. His presence at the music festival was revolutionary. But that luminous memory is undermined by a strange discomfort when he talks about the disaster of the “Special Period “and the shooting of rafters. Fito's Havana was censored in his country cinemas and subjected to an ideological reprimand on state television. Páez's public interventions close the narrative arc openedby the documentary: A convinced man who tries unsuccessfully to reconcile himself with the truth.
