Amwell View School in Stansted Abbotts, was founded in 1963 and over the years, it has developed and flourished to provide outstanding education to children with severe learning difficulties aged 2-19.

By attending this fantastic event, you will be helping to raise vital funds for our memorial garden and playground. 

We have re-designed our adventure playground and created a Memorial Garden for children that have sadly passed away. 

Butterfly Memorial Garden: 

As part of the project, we have created a butterfly themed memorial garden to remember all of the pupils who have sadly passed away. We would like every child to have a butterfly with their name on. They will be placed around several butterfly features and a seating area for children and families. 

Adventure Playground: 

Amwell View School is working hard to raise funds to help towards the funding of the refurbishment of our adventure playground. The area has been re-surfaced as the ground had become uneven, and the safety matting around the equipment was at the end of its life. We have updated the equipment to make it more accessible alongside new safe matting and grass to enable as many people to enjoy the space as possible.
