Chiddingstone Castle is running a whole day of activities, talks, tours for Egyptian Day on Sunday 7th August. Bring a picnic, explore the grounds, pop into the tea room and make a day of it this summer.

To book timed slots for drop-in make a clay model workshop (amulets, scarabs, plaques etc. inspired by Castle’s Egyptian collection). They are guided workshops that start at the alloted time. The clay sessions are being taught by Brenda Burgess Art Lessons | Maidstone | Brenda Burgess Arts (brendaburgessartsuk.info). 

Castle Admission tickets must be purchased in order to access the workshop. These can be bought online in advance or on the door.

There will be maximum 30 people per timeslot for the clay workshop.

Children must be accompanied by parents.

The tickets are £2.50 per person to cover the cost of materials.

Castle Admission for the day -

Adult £9.50 + booking fee

Child (5 to 15 years of age) £4.50  + booking fee

Child less than 5 years of age does not require a castle admission ticket but will need a workshop ticket to take part in the activity.
