Take the children on a learning adventure this summer with Japanese Samurai Bushi RedFox from Hysterical History. Join this interactive workshop to discover fun facts and tips on how to be a Japanese Samurai, with armour, weaponry and lots of activities to prepare you for meeting the Shogun.

Bushi RedFox will show you his armour collection and share essential skills of the Samurai. Learn the correct way to bow, count to ten in Japanese and how to possibly become a warrior, try some Japanese arts and crafts including origami - then you can go and discover the castles fantastic collection of original artefacts following a special workshop trail. Recommended age 5-11. Adults must remain in the Orangery area for the duration of the workshop.

Parents bring your picnic blanket and relax on the Orangery lawn with the children in sight or gather round in The Orangery itself to watch them get involved up close.
