Dr Digby Rocks joins Chiddingstone Castle this summer to bring to life Adventures in Egyptology. Hysterical History’s very own archaeologist, will help your little ones become mini Egyptologists through a bunch of fun learning games and fascinating interactive talks! 

Bring them along to play Bone Bingo, try their hand at Mummy Wrapping, Learn how to write hieroglyphs and more. Free badge for every trainee egyptologist and lots of fun.

Once they have finished becoming an expert on Ancient Egypt, go discover the castles fantastic collection of original artefacts following a special Egyptian Trail, Booking essential.

Recommended age 5-11. Adults must remain in the Orangery area for the duration of the workshop.

Parents bring your picnic blanket and relax on the Orangery lawn with the children in sight or gather round in The Orangery itself to watch them get involved up close.

Tickets include entrance to the House & Collections and special Egyptian Trail - open 11am to 5pm with last entrance at 4:15pm.

£9 per adult which includes Castle entry (standard castle admission is £11, children must be accompanied by an adult at both the workshop and when looking round the castle)
