Join us at Chiddingstone Castle for our very first Canine Carnival - rescheduled from June 2025!

Is your dog a 'Brilliant Boy' or a 'Gorgeous Girl', why not enter them into our fun filled dog show to find out?  Featuring an action packed arena with displays and demos, as well as expert led Q&A sessions, there is something for every dog lover to enjoy.  

With plenty of stalls selling doggy accessories, as well as food and drink for your pooch - and of course for humans too - you can spoil them rotten.  Surrounded by beautiful grounds, lovely woodland, spectacular Orangery and tranquil lake, Chiddingstone Castle provides the perfect backdrop for a leisurely stroll with your four legged friend and their family.

Hosted by Matthew Sankey, and supported by our partners The Dog Advisor and Larkins Bar by The Rock, we are excited to welcome all dog owners, and dog lovers, to Chiddingstone Castle for this brand new event.

Located on the South Lawn, the event will start at 11:30 and end at 16:30

Entry is £4 per person + booking fee or free for our annual ticket holders. Dog Show entry is £1 per category, register and pay on the day.

If you would like to become an annual ticket holder you can purchase those here. Whilst we do not allow dogs inside - with exception of assistance dogs, your ticket is valid for 12 months so you would be able to return for free as many times as you like in that period to discover the castle and collections on a different day.

From August 2025 we will be introducing RingGo to our car park.  Parking is free for the first 45 minutes and then charged at £1.20 for an additional hour or £3.20 for the day.  As an independent charity we receive no funding from the government.  Proceeds from these charges assist us in maintaining the Castle and Grounds, ensuring that we are able to remain open to the public into the future.  We recommend downloading the RingGo app in advance of your visit.  Our team are on hand Wednesday - Sunday to assist you where required.  We politely request that all visitors to the castle use our car park and refrain from parking in the village.

We do not offer refunds unless Chiddingstone Castle cancels the event when we shall provide a full refund excluding booking fee.
