What you need to know

Get ready to scream!

This October, for the first time Hever Castle will host evenings of frights and terror!

Discover the darker side of Hever with a night you won’t forget, full of immersive scare action intended to frighten you!

The Halloween Scream experience features live actors and special effects and is designed by AtmosFEAR! Scare Entertainment.

Halloween Scream takes place between 1800 – 2145
(final entry 2200 and final exit 2300).
Tickets cost £25.00 per person with access to both scare experiences.
Suitable for thrill seekers 14 years old and over.

Operated by Hever Castle – Designed by AtmosFEAR! Scare Entertainment

The two-part event starts in the historic Castle where famed spirit photographer Sir William Doyle opens the doors to an exclusive exhibition of his 12 ‘ghost photographs’ to the public for the first time.

But his spectrocamera has had a serious malfunction, and the ghosts he has captured on film are now roaming the castle halls.  Journey through the castle in a 15 minute walk through interactive experience. Come face-to-face with the phantoms and witness Sir Doyle’s assistant attempting to capture the ghost of Hever Castle on film in The 13th Frame.

In the second part of the experience you will be transported back to 1940 when the bombs of the blitz are headed for Hever Castle.

Descend into the cellars below the Castle (an area usually closed to the public) and take refuge from the airborne attack as part of the second of the 15 minute interactive experiences; but be warned – a far more terrifying encounter awaits you in a hidden labyrinth. The depraved Doctor Lockwood is conducting bizarre medical experiments inside SUBstratum.

Refreshments will be available in the grounds during the event.
